She will accompany Hannah Lewis cello playing Chopin's Polonaise Brilliante and Franz Liszt's Liebestraum
Mitra will accompany Erika Zeckser Owen viola playing Max Bruch's Romanze
Mitra will demonstrate her amazing ability to compose and play instantly on a musical phrase provided by a member of the audience.
One member of the audience will win the right to play their theme on the Steinway Piano.
Whilst at the Purcell School for Musically Gifted Children, Mitra performed this feat for His Royal Highness Prince Charles who described it as “brilliant and excellent”.
She repeated the achievement at the Djanogly Recital Hall in 2001 whilst performing in the concert from Scott Joplin to Franz Schubert.
The concert will finish with the first performance of Wedding Piano Pageant
Devised by Michael Parkinson, composed and arranged by Mitra Alice Tham. Using new and existing music played in Mitra's own inimitable style.
Members of the audience are invited to meet the performers and celebrate the occasion with a free drink at the end of the show.
The concert will be filmed, a DVD film produced and audience pictures may be included .
